Re: Boys right to wear skirts - woke?

Surely the root of the problem is school uniforms. They are an unnecessary expense for parents and in most cases uncomfortable and impractical wear for active children. Any unbiased survey, that is one not sponsored by the multibillion £$€ school uniform industry, always finds they increase frictio...

Re: Boys right to wear skirts - woke?

"Woke?" This is the exact same thing I highlighted before in another thread. I think it'd be easier if I just quote much of the things remarked in the article and type up my own response. Most of the quotes will be from the person who is in opposition of this proposal, and I do have quite ...

Re: Men’s skirts article

The majority of men are "pack animals"... They were taught to be pack animals from very early childhood. This could apply to women as well, because most humans are like that, regardless of sex. I've no idea why you think women aren't conditioned in the same way at that very same age. As i...

Re: What women really think

Welp. It looks like we're delving into murky waters, again. I might as well throw my hat in the ring. Here goes: This needs to be made as transparent as possible, because I'm sick of this, quite frankly, anti-LGBTQ+ attitude that I'm seeing on this website. When you're in a forum that advocates for ...

Re: Video games

Hi All, Does this thread not more rightly belong "Off Topic", Mods? I was looking for this thread in the advocacy sub forum but ended up having to search to even find it. Offvtopic would be fine too, but I think it belongs in advocacy. I'm a bit late with this, but no — I think the topic ...

Re: Men’s skirts article

It's an article that could definitely be improved, since it quotes the opposition, and only the opposition. The blogger notes the support, but doesn't cite or quote anyone who's in favor of men's skirts. It's also remarkably inadequate in terms of how short of a read it is, because this is a controv...

Re: Stop Assuming Biological Male in Skirt = MIS (They're probably pre-op transwomen)

Umm... No. Really it doesn't matter. If a guy is going around in a skirt, with no other visible signals that he is trans, he's just a guy in a skirt to anyone who sees him, unless they talk to him and he says, "no, actually I'm trans." At that point the difference is basically linguistic....

Re: What women really think

This narrow-minded, dull-witted attitude is something I can't look past or forgive that easily, especially since people are supposed to be more progressive and accepting of other people than they were yesteryear, but it's the same ol' ****, again and again. Makes me wonder what's there to be hopefu...

Re: What women really think

TSH i know there a lot of negativity in the list. From my perspective it was not intended as a women bashing opportunity. Persoally I hold no malice towards their attitude becuase it is born out of not understanding. That's still not an excuse to project one's own ignorance, though. I mean, we're s...

Re: What women really think

Normally, I'd say the only legitimate response would be, "Who gives a damn? Most people don't actually care about gender equality, let alone sartorial freedom for both women AND men. Women in pants had their moment, and it paid off, so why would they bother championing for the opposite sex that...

Ozzy Osbourne Passes Away at 76

I don't normally make threads like this. Even if it's someone whose work entertained (and even inspired) me, my mourning is more personal and private. This, however, I'm still trying to process: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/obituaries/ozzy-osbourne-pioneering-heavy-metal-singer-black-sabbath-frontma...

Re: Do People Notice?

She said something like: "...and my long cotton skirt was sticking to my legs as they do when wet as you know - well you wouldn't know obviously..." This is somewhat tangential, but I've always found the phrase "you wouldn't know" annoyingly presumptuous, as if the person they'r...

Re: Stop Assuming Biological Male in Skirt = MIS (They're probably pre-op transwomen)

I really don't see what the point of this thread is. Society brandishing identities on people for their sartorial choices is a reason why MiS hasn't caught on. Trans people make up, at most, %2 of the global population. People fight more for trans rights than men's rights to wear traditionally femin...

Re: Skirts, Pants, and Deuteronomy 22:5

I'm going to assume that this post is linked to the date — the average woman doesn't know about this verse. I didn't. The average person doesn't know about this verse, period. Those who do deceptively try to circumvent this by some bizarre mental gymnastics to justify their narrow-minded attitude, ...

Re: Amateur Dramatics

It's actually is quite a shame really. A boy was willing to play the role of a girl, everyone accepted it, and then "The Virus" happened. Wasted opportunity for everyone involved, because this type of acceptance is rare.
