Re: That rare male compliment

Since I started to wear skirts and dresses full time I've had a a fair number of compliments, mainly from women. Today I had the oddest compliment from a man. We're spending a few days sightseeing around Salisbury and Winchester before boarding a cruise ship in Southampton (south coast of England). ...

Re: How do you approach tops?

Bought this top for £4 from a charity shop a few days ago. I have a number of skirts in lilac/purple/mauve - wife thinks this is best combination.

Re: Nice legs!

Was wearing a skirt which came too about 6 inches above knee and tan tights when a woman said "If I had legs like yours I'd be wearing short skirts too"! Fairly made my day.

Re: Hello from Scotland

You're quite correct when you say not banned - just unusual. But wearing a skirt to work is another matter though some of our members do do so.

Re: I've bought a dress

Looks really good on you. It's just the sort of thing I would wear. Now we just need the better weather so you can get out and about with your new dress. I'm down in your area at least 3 times a year - always dressed or skirted and never experienced any problems. Even had occasion to go into Southam...

Re: Missing Cafe' Members

Sorry not posted anything recently. I do pop into the cafe regularly but prefer not to get involved in "deep and meaningful" conversations. Am off soon on another cruise (100% skirted/dressed, not even taking any trousers) so I'll post pics of my outfits when we come back end of November.

Re: Off on holiday skirted.

I'm sure you wont have any problems. Earlier in the year we done a two week cruise, visited six European cities - skirted/dressed all the way. I've posted pics of what I wore ( "skirted cruising" in the pics and looks section) and received no negative comments at all. Only positive. Enjoy ...

MIS on Eurovision

Just been watching semi final of Eurovision and the Croatian men in skirts. Song was rubbish but they got through to the final on Saturday so we'll see them again. Might even give them my vote!

Re: He skirt

Another site with same pics but had to laugh at the intro on this one...... "This was a brief fashion in the mid ’60s. An internal memoranda of Dorcus He-Skirts - which did not make it to the market - says “hire only men with large, hairy, developed legs, because in all probability they will be...

Re: Greetings fellow skirt wearers

Try and involve your wife in your skirt buying.Ask her to take you to one of the High Street stores and pick something for you. Like myself, you have a supportive wife. Show her how much you appreciate her and her opinion.

Re: Midlands UK

Hi Shaynee We were down in your area sightseeing a couple of months ago for 5 days. Visited National Space Centre, Midlands Air Museum, Coventry town centre and motor museum, Leicester and a number of big gardens. We stayed at a Premier Inn in Kettering. As a full time dress wearer I wore a differen...

Re: Fun buying a skirt

I share your sentiments, mishawakaskirt. I refuse to pay over the odds for my dresses. Max spend in a store has been £15 but had plenty of bargains under £5 from charity shops. I reckon I get twice the pleasure from my dresses - firstly the thrill of the hunt, then actually wearing them. Mind you, w...

Re: Hi All

thanks for the welcome Rivegauche. I wear a dress full time now. Have no desire to appear feminine - quite happy to be a man in a frock. Have posted some pics in another thread, under Skirts and Kilts - "short break". Some of them may look like I'm wearing a skirt but they are dresses with...
