I missed it, but my wife saw him. He was wearing a full length black skirt. I'm thinking it may have been priestly robes under a coat. We have a number of older orders and orthodox groups around.

Would it be too hard to make all links that lead to external URL's open the link in a new window or tab as a default? Quite annoying when I click on link forgetting to right click first.

What Land's End Skirts are you referring to? The school ones? They do look like kilts and for far less.

A good place to get suitable female socks that would reasonably pass for kilt hose, is sockdreams.com.

Good Friday will be filled with work and home and then off to church for an evening service. Tough to get a kilt in that line up, although I did think about the wearing it at work. I'd have to bring pants just in case, as I do need to proctor an exam on Friday.

The wife has complained about the kilt, so I've put it away, but come Friday I shall bring it out and wear it as much as possible. It is bad timing, being the Friday before Easter though.
