Fun buying a skirt

There are 2 parts to this story, firstly I have been following the chef Tom Kerridge's "dopamine diet" and have lost 6 1/2 stone to date, as a consequence of this weight loss my favourite denim mini ( size 20 ) now threatens to fall straight down to my ankles at every wearing. Last Sunday ...

Re: First steps in tights

When I first started wearing skirts in public I needed tights as well as my legs have many scars from a childhood accident. After trying most of the major supermarkets offerings I found it difficult to get them to stay up and not burst at the front (not bragging just stating a fact.....) until I fou...

Re: My landlord's wearing a skirt for a month!

I saw this post and was working in Bolton yesterday so I thought I would put a skirt on and show my support. Unfortunately he had just returned from a meeting and was not "dressed" but was very welcoming and apologetic. We had a good chat about skirted activities and I will certainly be go...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

Hi All, Had an interesting couple of days, on Friday I was supposed to be polishing 2 workbenches I had made for my son's new premises so I could fit them but the polishing pads didn't arrive so I couldn't and took the opportunity to go to the chiropodist's and get my feet sorted out. After that I w...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

Hi all, following the success of the previous Sunday's outing to the paper shop, petrol station and the park (in sightings in the wild) I decided to do it again, the paper shop was a small one with just a few older men coming and going so nothing said. I then went to a local country park with lots o...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

I am hoping that I have become a " sighting in the wild " today. MOH was off at her mums for a few days so I planned an outing with the help of a friend who would gauge reactions and take some pics. First stop was a co-op for the Sunday papers, a few double takes but no comments either way...

Re: Where did you first get the idea to wear a skirt?

Hi all, Happy New Year, I have had this thread in my head for some time now delving into my past to try and get things in the correct order. My first memory of wearing any form of womens clothing was when I was 9 years old........ I had broken my leg in a road accident and when I was discharged from...

Re: Hello from Greater Manchester

Thank you "trainspotter48" for your reply and perhaps the moderators will let me know how the uploading of pictures works regarding who can see and re-publish them? And Sinned, thank you for your reply, my top half was covered up on the way to the Pride arena but once in there I thought it...

Hello from Greater Manchester

Hi, I am a man in his 60's who has enjoyed wearing womens clothes for over 50 years. Most of this has happened indoors at home or work ( I am self employed which can make things easier ) however with the marching on of time I thought I should try being skirted outside in daylight ( pass the valium!!...
