I've actually found that Chapters in Canada is really great about finding out-of-print and obscure titles. They're at http://www.chapters.ca.

To answer any lingering questions
I have posted the last update to the CitySkirt web page. It features a Q&A table that should clear up any questions anyone might have regarding the shutdown.

At least it's propagated itself
That's good news; I'd hope that my Go Away message would propagate across the Google crawler and other search engine spiders. (You old schoolers know what I'm talking about.) Sometimes old tricks are the best tricks, eh? CitySkirt is indeed in a coma. (There's only so much hatred a person can...

CitySkirt's end as you know it
DanR, I hope your surgery goes well, and that you can restore the CitySkirt web site soon. Best regards, Thanks, Greg. It did go well. Turns out it was not a cyst but a benign fatty tumor. (It's been an extremely rough week.) Pretty quick outpatient stuff. My dermatologist has a very skilled staff ...

Cooties
WHY do you need to use 'professional' models? What's wrong with real people? Aren't you allowed to? I'm NOT criticising your skirts - they look perfectly fine to me! However, your analogy (frame/photo) says it all, that's exactly how "Joe Public" perceives 'life' in general, never ...

Radio interview: No big surprises
I got bumped earlier by the president. (He's good for something, I guess.) So I reluctantly agreed to a few minutes on air. Needless to say, John Carlson and Ken Schram were complete idiots. Schram was worse than usual. (I had thought that wasn't intellectually possible but I was mistaken.) I got th...

People are fixated on mannequins
I've only just read the article(?)!!!!!!! I'm fascinated why folk such as these drift off into talking about "dresses" and "high heels" :eh: What's the relevance, I wonder? It it wishful thinking on their part? Mind you, the mannequin does look absolutely appalling - effete to s...

Silverdale tip
The "Silverdale" is a bit on the narrow side for my tastes (I have a long stride) but the others are designs I'd be happy to wear. (Silverdale tip: Just keep the lower buttons unfastened and it will accommodate any stride. I'm 6'2" and I have a very large stride. So far, no problems....

More hatred and vitriol, it appears
I think I was most surprised by the overall level of hatred and vitriol for anything not cookie-cutter and conformist. Matt Rosenberg certainly has a large following of fascists, it appears. All the venom about pieces of fabric sewn together so that they can be worn as a garment! As if there weren't...

CitySkirt is back up and running
OMG!!! Why would anyone want to attack your site? I bet it has something to do with that post on that Blog. People can be som intolerance about others. I hope the authority is able to catch the hacker and lock that person up for good. And good luck on your interview tomorrow. Thanks, Raphael. It's ...

cityskirt.com under attack / radio interview on 9/6
cityskirt.com is currently under a DDoS attack and is unavailable. HTTP traffic has wildly exceeded the limit on my hosting plan. It's only going to get worse too, as tomorrow I'm scheduled for a phone-in radio interview on Seattle's KVI 570AM in the morning. It's for The Commentators, a liberal and...

Any press is good press
Any press is good press, I suppose. At least the original poster provided a couple links to my own site. For a snarky remark from an outsider, Matt Rosenberg, check this link out: Sound Politics The article is about half-way down. It's entitled Vast "Oddball Conspiracy Emanating From Iss...
