Re: Second Opinion

Not for me Stevie, I don't like long sleeves at the best of times and those do look a bit puffy. I agree with your comments on the pattern being too large and the tie belt doesn't do it either. At the end of the day it's what you like and feel comfortable with, if we all had the same taste we would ...

Re: Skirts with splits

I seem to be the only one who likes splits, I like more fitted skirts so splits help when moving around. I also like the look of them. I have quite a number with a split. Each to their own... 😃

Re: Getting photographed in public

A quick internet search brough this up (expertphotography.com) "Photography Laws UK: Your Rights If you’re on public property, you can take photos of whatever you like. Whether it’s property or people, you don’t need anyone’s permission. Some people are going to tell you that you can’t take pho...

Re: men swimwear's trends

Hi guys, Here is an article about summer 2024 men swimwear's trends (in french, but it can be translated) especially colors and prints. https://hommeurbain.com/les-plus-beaux-maillots-de-bain-homme-ete-2024/ What do you think ? Personally I like speedos with uniform inspired colors. Have a nice day...

Re: COVID

Mrs BM just got back from Asda. Shelves empty of COVID tests. She found some tests on another random shelf. My daughter is positive, eldest son who is starting his GCSEs was negative. Look after yourself mouse. We threw hundreds of Covid tests away recently (work), we no longer test for Covid as it...

Re: A case of mistaken skirting - pays to read comments

Aside note. Dior handbag? Not many of the skirts I own have pockets and when they do they are shallow and I don't trust them. Consequently I carry my wallet and keep losing it around the house. I either need some kind of wallet holder or a handbag but I would probably lose that too. The handbag was...

Re: Intimate Medical Issues

Not quite intimate but on my last diabetic review I was having my feet tested for feeling. When the doctor does it I'm asked to lie down and he sits at the end and prods my feet with his plastic tool thing. Enter a young nurse, this time I'm sat in the chair is a shortish skirt while she sits on a v...

Re: A change at work results in no skirting.

Let's see how it goes.... 🙄 Victor, it has been over a month and I wondered how things were going? Hi there Mouse, Early days yet.... I've only been in position for the last two weeks due to haggling over terms & conditions, but all sorted now. I still get away with skirting on a Monday as I kn...

Re: Pretty Skirts?

I have a few that fall into the pretty category, I think the term for the kind I have is ditsy. I quite like the floaty material skirts although I only tend to wear these when the sun is out. Quite a dramatic change from my usual black.

Re: The worst job

I had one of those between jobs job where I used to go around the local authority open areas and empty and clean the dog poo waste bins! I had a little van and the waste would stay in the van for 3 or 4 days until it was collected centrally. You can imagine the smell during the summer. I must point ...

Re: Treacher wore a dress to school

I am a governor at my local school and I attend in a skirt when I visit. In my defence, it has not been a pink skirt, but who knows in the future. With uniform policy, shorts were not in the female section for acceptable uniform. In discussion, I put forward the idea that we just have a list of clo...

Re: A change at work results in no skirting.

Did someone have a word with you and express their concerns with you wearing a skirt while performing the role? Hi BM, no one has had a word... this is just my opinion. To do covert assessments without drawing attention to myself i need to blend in, a skirt would just shout "assessment". ...

A change at work results in no skirting.

While I have been wearing skirts for sometime at work, recent changes mean the opportunity to turn up skirted will be very very rare. You may be aware that I drive London buses, I also am a trainer for both drivers and office staff. Wearing a skirt has not been an issue, I wear a uniform when drivin...

Re: Hello from South UK

Hi there Dave,

I lurked for a long time too.

I went to the pre Christmas meet in London and it turned out we are just a diverse bunch of normal guys who, for whatever reason, like to wear skirts. No drama whatsoever.

Welcome

Tony

Re: Non-posting/inactive members?

I confess to being more reader than a poster. The reason for that is I feel like I don't have much to say... I wear skirts so often that the 'Out & about' seems a little irrelevant as going out in a skirt is such a non event for me. I suppose I should post more in a support for other members wh...
