Re: Skirting when doing DIY projects

Great to see another person doing building work in a skirt. A few of us here have posted pics on the subject, Moonshadow, SkirtsDad, Kirbstone and myself to name a few. I do stonework, mechanical work, welding and gardening in a mini skirt. The only time I put on overalls is spraying weedicide and r...

Yes, a good combination. Depending on the music, red wine can go well too.

Re: Hypothethical Question

I interpret Gender Non-Conforming as someone who does not conform to the conventional apearance and behaviour of a person of a particular gender. I personally do not have not issue with the term although I don't use it and it may be interpreted differently by others. I agree with Carl to the degree ...

Re: Hypothethical Question

........... but we need to make something seem normal even though that something is a novelty for most men. Which to me brings us back to the original hypothetical; to make skirts seem normal to most men they would loose a lot of what a lot of us love about skirts. To me it is not a matter of makin...

The hypothetical sounds very much like the conventions of real life ............. which I manage to sucessfully skirt around.

Re: Intimate Medical Issues

Not quite intimate but on my last diabetic review I was having my feet tested for feeling. When the doctor does it I'm asked to lie down and he sits at the end and prods my feet with his plastic tool thing. Enter a young nurse, this time I'm sat in the chair is a shortish skirt while she sits on a ...

I would say it could work well, particularly if it had a striking radial pattern.

It is encouraging to hear that someone else finds that it takes longer to get things done. I thought I was slowing down but time must be moving faster.

Oh, I guess that you could put a skirt on a TV, as some people put a skirt on a bed or a motor car.

Re: The boundary between skirt wearer and TV

I assume that the acronism TV is meant as Transvestite, which is an obsolete and derogatory term these days, hence TV is now an anacronsim. Ever the term crossdressing will eventually cease being used. If you are wondering about the boundary between men wearing skirts as an addition to the pallete o...

I suspect that there have been cases of mistaken shorting when strangers see me in a mini skirt.

Re: Purses! or should that be curses?

Purses are very handy in keeping coins from slipping out of pockets when seated or lost in the bottom of a shoulder bag. Percy as we called "him?" belonged to my partner Heather. The lady at the local shop offered me a larger one but when I explained the sentimental attachment she understo...

Yes. Interesting the difference in position of the waist ties on the males and females. Anatomically based or not?

Re: Pretty Skirts?

I looked for a pretty skirt amongst my collection and found a wrap mini skirt which can be reversed for a quick change of mood. It only takes 10 seconds to change, but phone boxes are hard to find these days.
