Thanks Milos for the thoughtful Easter greeting, links and song translation.
I wish you the same where you are.

Re: David Ross Lawn
With #2, there's a major stigma we the common folk are going against and trying to overcome. I live in a conservative small town. I'm almost always in a skirt, although I wear trousers or a dress once in a while. I don't find any major stigma. Probably some folks used to talk about me behind my bac...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large
I went shopping today wearing a different sort of mini skirt than my usual; a pleated micro/mini 11.5" at the front and 12" at the back. All went well and no reactions as per my usual trips. There was a bit of wind but nothing dramatic. Also a couple of funny situations; I had ordered a ne...

Re: Don't worry, most people know we're not trans
I suppose that myself having facial hair and leg hair sets the cue that I am just a bloke in a skirt. I have only ever had one Ma'am from an elderly lady at an Op-shop, who I think was confused with the skirt and was well meaning although must have been thinking that I was a very failed example of w...

Re: Heavy feet.....
Well That surprises me. I thought it would be the other way around.
The heaviest boots I have worn were ones I was wearing when I got stuck on a wet road. Every step I took added another layer of mud and when I tried to shake it off I nearly dislocated my knee.

Re: My slip is showing!
They don't call them slips for nothing because of their liability to show. I have never worn a slip but some of my mini skirts have a lining which can't slip. One mini has a lining with a pink lace hem designed to show, which looks rather cute but I haven't worn it in public yet. The things that I w...

Interesting article, although I think calling "it" and elephant is a bit of an overstatement.

Re: went out in a dress
At the end of a hot day I will have a cold shower and change into something like that, although much shorter, as a night shirt. Quite often I get around the property thus attired doing garden watering and othe chores. Quite respectable really as women wear them out and about. The only item in men's ...

Re: Are Skorts Going Mainstream in Menswear?
I believe that men should wear a skirt over cycling shorts for reasons of modesty but I don't believe that men should wear cycling shorts under a skirt for reasons of coolness and comfort. You may as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb as skorts look like a skirt anyway; In other words just wear a sk...

Re: Are Skorts Going Mainstream in Menswear?
Most times you would not know if someone was wearing a skort as they look like skirts unless privy to more personal knowledge. Hence I can not imagine your common and garden man choosing a skort. Perhaps start with a small peplum at the waist and gradually make it longer until it covers the legs of ...
