Re: Polie stopped me AGAIN last night
I think that as my wife say's people are going to look when they see a man in a skirt, so its not really unexpected that police will want to ask questions when I'm out late at night skirted too. Just so long as they never ask if I'm a flasher or doing anything illegal. I'll be polite while they are...

Re: Do folks notice or not?
What's a guy gotta do to get noticed these days? I'm thinking maybe "ground effects" lights shining from under our skirts would do it. :D so true. I'm actually a bit miffed that I haven't been mentioned in "Sightings in the Wild" yet, despite wearing skirts in London basically a...

Re: Genuine reactions....
I had a very brief reaction today! Whitecross Street, in central London, a wonderful place for lunch from loads of diverse food trucks. A guy said something, in my general direction, about "the nut house is over there" :) But really, (a) it's incredibly rare to get a negative reaction like...

We are the Skirtonians the thin end of the wedge We're here among you, and this is our pledge. Whether the winds blow high or the winds blow low No matter what they say, through the streets we'll go. Trousers are to girls what skirts are to boys They cover each well, with room for their toys. Stran...

Re: article - "Boys in skirts trending!"
Found Highgate School's twitter feed here if any of you want to directly question them! https://twitter.com/highgate1565 Thank You! Here is my reply to their tweet on this: Excellent but "questioning identity" is unnecessary. Just call it equality. #MenWearSkirts as personal preference wi...

Re: article - "Boys in skirts trending!"
I was just about to post about this Highgate School story. Great that there is already a thread about it! I live in Highgate, and walk past the school every day wearing a skirt - and occasionally run into groups of their pupils. Although I have no evidence whatsoever of any connection, it's nice to ...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large
Generally a great look but there's just one thing that spoils it for me and that's the Jesus sandals. Now I know that there's nothing wrong with them but I just don;t like them and wouldn't be seen dead in them never mind alive. So don;t mind me - it's just a personal thing. As Dennis said, it's a ...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large
I had a woman tell me she loved my outfit as I was leaving my work today (and pausing to watch her and others playing a very tottering Jenga).

Re: Skirt Superpowers
Whereas trousers to trousers is not possible. I am sure I can recall Mr. Bean doing something like that on a beach. And did he achieve it with his usual elegance and panache? (I would assume not, as the point of Mr Bean is that even the simplest thing goes wrong, and this is not a simple thing!)

Re: Skirt Superpowers
... I haven't done it but I have seen it on youtube; changing skirts in public. Dead easy! I often wear a 'practical' denim skirt to a dance, then change into something lighter and more 'dancey' at the side of the dance floor in full view of anyone who happens to look. Pull the new skirt up over th...
