I aagree bookworm and also that we Scots need to lighten up a bit on how to wear kilts. Ive currently got 8 kilts and also a few lightweight ones which are just perfect for this hot weather.

There is no reason why you shouldnt go out in a miniskirt. As previous posters have said though its best to wear appropriate underwear as the shorter the skirt is the easier it is to slip up and expose yourself accidentally hence giving the naysayers the ammunition they need.
