Re: 1,127 deaths of "slave" labour

One possibility is to issue an "import" license to any manufacturer who wants to export to the USA. With this import license, you may export goods to the USA; without it you get turned away at the ports. To get an import license, you must show our inspectors that you are conforming with ou...

Re: What makes a skirt masculine?

Gentlemen, This is the crux of the question, and has been for as long as I've been around! Our inability to answer it in any kind of coherent fashion is holding back "the movement". Consider the "pants test". Suppose you and I snuck into a department store after hours and perform...

Re: Skirts and the "Wizzard of Oz"...

THIS is the goal of the skirting movement... when a skirt on a man elicits no reaction just by being a skirt! You know, this statement is accurate but I'm not sure I want to see it go that far! I want to make a statement with my skirts! I want to tell the world that my sense of masculinity is so st...

Re: Skirts and the "Wizzard of Oz"...

I'm not sure if anyone else out there has experienced this, but once you've jumped into the pool and done some public skirting, the ease by which it's possible to actually FORGET you're wearing a skirt is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

Skirts and the "Wizzard of Oz"...

Greetings, ye skirted brethren... I was cleaning out my computer and stumbled on this; Actually, it's something (I think) I posted a very long time ago. An awful lot of the "cast of characters" on this board has changed since then, so I thought it might be worth a rerun... Enjoy, reflect,...

Re: A personal issue with tights.

One factor for me here is that I kinda like vented skirts, one with a vent that goes almost hip-high! I ALSO like dark colors - blacks, dark browns, Navies! The problem with this is that the very bright colors of my legs and knees clash with this theme! Dark colored tIghts solve the problem!

Re: Pockets, or Lack Thereof

Yep! A HUGE problem with a men's skirt. My Men-in-Time skirt has NO pockets! I went round-and-round on this one with the Men-in-Time folks, and their tailor told me that a pocket would destroy the grace flow-and-hang of the skirt. They're probably right, but it would also make the skirt wearable, so...

Some questions and a warning...

At the end of last July, I ordered a modern Kilt from got-kilt (http://www.got-kilt.com). I ordered a 24" length, which had to be manufactured, adding to the delivery time. At the end of august, I inquired as to the status of my kilt. They replied, explaining about the special order delay, but ...

Re: Are We Winning?

Are we "winning"? That depends on one's definition of "winning". If that definition involves some Lord High grand exhaulted PooBah banging his gavel and declaring "Hear Ye, Hear Ye, from this date forward men shall be permitted to wear skirts", we'll never win, mostly b...

Re: How Hot Is It?

New York has a very moderate climate - 4 distinct seasons, but none offers a real temprature extreme.. Still, it has been uncomfortably hot (consistently in the mid 90s (F) and as high as 104) for most of the summer. See what happens when you don't vote for Al Gore??? On another note, I just purchas...

Doesn’t look too “girly” at all! I’m not sure about the print, though… One could probably add considerably more masculinity if the print were Budweiser or Jack Daniels logos… I have some ties with prints that are wonderful conversation starters and ice-breakers! One of these is a montage of guitars ...

Bonus points to anybody who can code that in ALGOL ("a great improvement over most of its successors"). There was once a time when I probably could have, but that was long ago and far away! I also used to like a language called "PL/1", which I though would become something of a ...
