Re: Love my wife

I'm with Dennis on this one. It's all well and good woman preaching to us about how we shouldn't wear skirts but if somebody tried to deny them their right to wear trousers do you think they'd take it lying down?

Re: I have bought my first skirt

Yeah same with myself and tights. My ex convinced me to try them last December and I haven't looked back since. At first I began wearing them under my jeans to work in the cold then as summer neared, and it became too warm, I found I didn't want to stop and began wearing them with shorts instead. In...

Re: I have bought my first skirt

You've really got me thinking about long skirts now with that pic it looks great and very manly. Every bit as manly as trousers. I bet that would be lovely and warm in winter. Add tights and you've got yourself a little furnace whilst all the other blokes freeze!

Re: First time?

I don't know how handy you are with a needle and thread but you could always add another overlapping piece of material to the bottom of the skirt in the same material or same/contrasting colour. If it doesn't work then take the added piece off and try again. If you are going to be reluctant to wear...

Re: Dress Code Problems

I do agree that women literally Xdress far more than men do and are allowed to get away with it. And nowhere near as much stigma for women either. For example if a women told her friend's she'd borrowed her boyfriend's pajama top one night because she was cold they would most likely think it was cu...

Re: First time?

When I first saw the item there was only about 90 seconds remaining. I didn't quite have time to go asking questions unfortunately. It was either a case of bid and win the item (there were no other bids) or leave it so I chose to bid. As mentioned I'd previously bought the longer version in a size 1...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

I was sitting outside a bar on the other side of the road at the time and only caught him from behind shortly before he turned round the corner. He had a white shirt / t-shirt on and did not appear to be in drag. I was with a couple from our city who I'd only just met on holiday a few months earlier...

Re: Dress Code Problems

Well we've been trying to educate her since the incident happened. I think at the time she appeared to be under the false presumption that most men usually carried their change loose. Hence this bloke with the wallet stood out like a rogue apple. Although she still doesn't appear 100% convinced abou...

Re: First time?

It could have been my first time tonight. I'd ordered a size 18 black Dorothy Perkins cargo skirt for £4 from eBay. Got home opened the parcel and to my disappointment it was a mini, a detail which hadn't been mentioned in the listing. I would feel a bit too self conscious wearing something that sho...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

I saw one on Saturday. Admittedly it was at a Gay Pride event in Liverpool but nevertheless I saw thousands of other attendees that day and he was the only male I noticed so still a decent achievement I guess. It was a black possibly leather one an inch or two above the knee.

Re: Dress Code Problems

Yeah there were 4 or 5 women all together agreeing that men shouldn't be carrying wallets. One's reason was because her father and brother had never carried wallets so she didn't expect other men to either and went on to say that she wouldn't dream of going out with a man who owned one but apparentl...

Re: Dress Code Problems

I'm starting to get the impression that's it's mainly women, ie. the group who are generally more proactive about fashion, who are setting most of these 'rules' and expect the rest of us to blindly fall in line. I seldom hear men complain about the way women dress. It's the other bitchy insecure wom...

Re: Dress Code Problems

The cycling shorts I own aren't padded they're a similar material to Speedos / leggings. They're probably more suited to gym work than bike riding in all honesty.

Re: Dress Code Problems

I had an argument with a lady in work recently who considers men who wear Speedos as being "disgusting the way they flaunt their bulges in front of young children." Whilst failing to acknowledge the double standard that a woman who shows her cleavage (actually in the flesh) is conversely p...
