Re: Need some creative ideas

Diana: What kind of schools does your local community have. This sounds like the kind of idea that local schools could get behind with your help. We have a farm here in Carpentersville, Illinois, owned by the locl park district. And it is open for public accesss all year but is used by the local sch...

Re: Post Hospital!

Just finished my first full week of chemo/radiation. So far so good. Just some minor tummy upset and a feeling of being tired a lot. They have a new way of doing chemo and I'm one of the first, arounf here to use. Instead of injection, etc. I take pills. It's bunches of pills twice a day. It's a lig...

Re: Our leaders!

Next years, you know, 2012 when the world ends, we in the USA will be electing the president again. I hope that sometime, between now an election day, there comes along a person worthy of voting FOR. Most of my life I've been forced to vote for the lesser of two evils. I can't see the current one re...

Re: GOOGLE+

What is it?
I use GOOGLE as a search engine. But I assume that's not what you mean.
Since I don't know what it is I guess that my answer is No.

Re: For our many musicians!

Rick: If you ever watched the TV series, Fringe, they have a cow at work! Of course it's a special sort of thing too. And the cow is listed in the credits. It's changed twice that I know off. It's like all the Lassies they used for the TV shows. At least six that I knew of. Only one Lassie was actua...

Re: Post Hospital!

The doctors are now telling I had better go throughsome more radiation as well as chemo therapy. It seems that there is a 60-70% chance of the cancer in my esphogus to return. A biopsy of lymph nodes taken during the surgery showed I had cancer in 2 out of 5 nodes. So they want to preventy the retur...

Re: Standard time!

I did a little research and found out that the Romans actually did use a summer time and winter time. It was very curious set up. In the summer time they added minutes to each hour, instead of one lump hour the way we do. Their hours ran from 65 minutes to up to 75 minutes. In the winter time they r...

We moved our clocks back! Hooray! I hate Daylight savings time. I will readjust to standard time quickly since I never, really, adjusted to daylight savings time last spring. What the heck our we doing, playing with obsolete concept anyway? Ben Franklin's plan to save on candles? HUH????????????????...

Re: The Feel of a Skirt!

BBB said: "I also spent much of my holiday in a lungi and felt robbed and confined when I conformed to western norm." The funny thing is most our problems with our culture's total love affair with pants is that is does stem from "western" norm. Actually, western movies! The same ...

Re: The Feel of a Skirt!

The original post was meant as a personal point of view. And there is no one answer here. Everybody is right and/or wrong with their own personal view being their right answer. The reason I made the post in the first place is because I feel a sense of joy, a sense that "Oh, BOY!" I am WEAR...
