Re: What are we wearing as we post, part deux

Right now, I am going for simplicity. I am wearing my blue cotton lounge dress that arrived yesterday from Woman Within. Pacific Blue Lounge Dress With the hot summer temperatures around 90F/33C, I wanted something cool to wear around the house yet be modest enough to wear outside in my yard. My nig...

Re: Sorry we dont sell skirts

Some other places to look for skirts besides WomanWithin dot com would be http://www.roamans.com and http://www.jessicalondon.com if you are interested. All of them are Lane Bryant companies.. Roamans has a skirt I still would like to have, but I just bought two cotton dresses from woman within to w...

Re: Hi Donald: leg care & shaving

Hi Donald, I tried Nair a few times and found that even after 8 minutes or so, much of my leg hair was still in place. That plus the awful smell convinced me not to try it again, so I just shave my legs with a Gillette Mach III Turbo and shaving cream. These are the same things I use for my face to...

Re: A new look with socks and pantyhose

John, that's a very nice look. Since the pantyhose are a sheer nude style, that is why I feel the socks work well with your outfit. If the hose were of a suntan or darker shade, it may not look as good. Also, if the pantyhose are of a heavier denier, then the socks will not look as good either, I fe...

Re: Nightshirts?

Donald, and Ashtree, very femme, but I do love them! I think they are very nice. And why shouldn't men also enjoy fine night wear? There may be one problem with very fine materials, as I shave, nearly all of my body, especially my chest hair and also my arm hairs get stubby very fast. That is very ...

Re: Nightshirts?

Yassen, I like the design. Myself, I would prefer a pastel blue, bright blue, or black myself. In fact, my most recent gown, a 2pc peignoir set, is in black. I posted it in the What Are We Wearing As We Post thread, but here it is again. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y118/donaldjr1969/Misc%20web%...

Re: Not being helped in retail stores

If you think that may be a problem, try being a male with gynecomastia like myself and shopping for a bra. :) Of course, when looking through the racks for my size in my style, I have had a few clerks come over and ask if I needed help. But then, most of the time they are middle aged women working i...

Re: Clicking on links in threads

Yeah, I know all that! But I was curious if this could be enabled by default within the phpBB settings . :) Many many times have I used the right click function on many many pages. But this is just a habit. Every message board I have belonged to, including the vBulletin board I moderate, autom...

Clicking on links in threads

As it stands right now, when I click on a link in a thread, the link is opened in the same window or tab as the thread I am reading. Is it possible to change a setting so that any link clicked will open up in a new window? I prefer that so I can view the new link yet still be able to view the thread...

Re: What are we wearing as we post, part deux

Well, I must admit. I have been bad in that I have noit purchased the two skirts I was interested in or any more dresses. However, the first of my two backordered nightgowns arrived the other day. So today, I am lounging around in my black 2pc peignoir set. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y118/dona...

Re: Software update at SkirtCafe?

Carl and others, I leave for another trip to Centralia and look what happens to the forums upon my return! Actually, I really like the default color scheme! Blue is my favorite color and I am glad there is a blue skin for me. Looks good, folks! And now phpBB is even more of a worthy alternativ...

One of the reasons I want a 36" skirt is that I want a longer skirt to wear when I go on my walks in the woods and have protection from weeds and bristlebushes close to my ankles. Yet I do not want to have the skirt rubbing the ground, ESPECIALLY if the ground is wet/muddy. I don't think it's ...

Ooh Carl, I love that color blue of the dress on that page!!!! Right now, I am lounging around in one of my sleeveless satin nightgowns. I got out of bed 90 minutes ago and I am just lounging around finishing my breakfast and drinking some coffee. This is just going to be a lazy day and I probably w...

A lot of others apparently like that lace top gown. I ordered it and it is on backorder in the blue until JULY!!!!! At least the 2pc peignoir/nightgown set I ordered is going to be shipped at the end of the month.

Thanks for the info. I cannot find my yardstick right now Carl but when I tried to place the yardstick on my waist, it was rubbing the floor. That did not seem right to me though. And it was a true yardstick, not a meterstick. One of the reasons I want a 36" skirt is that I want a longer skirt ...
