Re: Sightings "in the wild"

Hi Derek I've been to Brighton several times and you are right, skirts are a bit thin on the ground. You are most likely to see some colour around the North Laines from Bond Street and the Lanes on the other side of North street. Yes, I walked the Lanes - both areas also along the sea front up to t...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

Spent a couple of nice sunny days in Brighton (UK) last week and was quite suprised not to see any men in skirts at all. I would have thought Brighton would be a very popular place for skirting. There were loads of nice skirts and dresses but they were all on women! Whatever is the world coming to ?...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

Norwich seems to have become a popular place for skirt wearing recently.

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

Two days ago in a water garden centre near Darlington. Tall bearded man in what I thought looked like a short strappy sun dress, boldly patterned and possibly over hardly visible shorts. Unfortunately I was not skirted myself.

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

Spent a lovely couple of hours in the sunshine with a cooling breeze blowing at a local National Trust property today. Different skirt from the Whitby one two days ago but the description fits well. After decades of fear and anxiety I am conquering my ghosts at last. - and this forum is being a sign...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

Had a good day in Whitby today - skirted of course. Full length, pleated and subtley flowery. :)
Is this the right place to post that?

Re: What feminine items do you wear?

Long skirts and blouses but not both at once. My motto is..."Shirts with skirts and blouses with trousers"

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

Seen this noon (27th January) crossing the road at the junction of Magdalen St and Magpie Rd in Norwich, UK, a man with bright-red hair (dyed), a coat, a black light-weight mini-skirt and black-and-white horizontally striped socks/tights. Great - always loved Norwich since I used to live in Norfolk...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

Hi all, It was a really hot day yesterday in Wetherby, Yorkshire, UK. I saw a man in a shortish - above the knee - sun dress. He was just walking through the town with all the other shoppers. He was completely bald and sporting a fine pair of knobbly knees. The dress had thin shoulder straps. It cer...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

A person (clearly a biological male). Broad shouldered, tall, flat chested, some facial hair. No cosmetics. Grey hair in a ponytail. Unisex T shirt, unisex flip flops, etc. Only thing "feminine" was he was wearing a plain, rather discrete, maxiskirt. Most likely he's trans and isn't a str...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

"It doesn't matter for whatever reason men choose to dress as they do it's their business. Men have the right to wear whatever they want without judgement. The same rights that are afforded to women. If you want to know their pronouns, ask them."

"Perhaps it really is becoming a non-event". I'm sure it is - and about time too. It seems to be much easier nowadays.

Glad I'm not the only skirted male who likes National Trust Properties especially in North Yorkshire. :D

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

Was in Norwich on Wednesday and saw a guy wearing a skirt and leggings going into The Forum (Norwich Library). No one really seemed to notice or care apart from me. Norwich is one of the few places I've actually been laughed at when skirt wearing. Some years ago a couple guys on scaffolding in Lond...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

Popped into York yesterday, kind of on the way past and I had a couple of hours to spare. York must be a hotbed, the last time I was there, it was a short guy in a green dress that stood out. Ive skirted in York city centre once or twice now - always had a good time - noone seems particularly bothe...
