Re: Kilt is a magic word.
When I was a little boy no self respecting woman would dare to wear trousers. But they were happy to wear slacks which were trousers for women. From "The Mole": When I was asked to become a Moderator, I swore to uphold the “Rules” of Skirt Café. I was asked because I supported the Kilt and its variations. This was to keep all views open, to everyone. I’ve upheld my agreement by fully supporting the “Rules” and have issued several ...

Hey TM, you quoted yourself yet not giving/showing a reason of why.
The Facebook post you references in no longer available
IMHO, when you mentioned WIN-95, that's an indication - to me - that
Facebook doesn't keep info that long

Re: Skirts in foreign lands
no obvious reactions, either good or bad, from other people I wouldn't expect any in a Christian, British-American EX-Pat country like Malta. Food is excellent, viewing the sailing ships in the harbor, all-a-round great country to visit :D I would love to go back for another visit :D Uncle Al :mrgr...

Re: Pseudo-kilt
By construction this is a kilt: a wrap skirt with two front aprons and pleats in the back. The only differences are that it is made of soft cotton not tartan* , and fastened with buttons instead of straps. Hence a pseudo kilt. * Tartan isn't a specific material , but rather a pattern of crisscrosse...

Re: Kilts with internal pockets
The Stunptown Utility kilt https://www.stumptownkilts.com/the-standard/ <snip> The pocket in the apron is accessible from either side of the apron via slits. I think he wants slash pockets, found on dress pants. At least that's what I interpret by his previous description. They could be installed b...

Re: Kilts with internal pockets
This clip is from 11 years ago. Freedom Kilts - Shaw TV Victoria As he said, slash pockets can be added to any kilt. You'll need to check with your kilt maker to see what they offer. Currently, no 'little kilt/Breacan' 'off-the-peg' is available with pockets, unless it is one of the Utilikilt versio...
